Strongly condemns shifting of Syeda Asiya Andrabi and her associates to Tihar Jail secretly and denying their relatives a meeting with them.

07 AUGUST 2018 : Srinagar (KNO) : Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Mohammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to great JKLF martyrs Syed Irfan ul Hassan shah on his martyrdom day today.

While remembering the great son of soil, Yasin Malik said that Irfan-ul-Hassan Shaheed strived for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir from his early childhood and sacrificed his youth for the sacred cause.

Yasin sahib said that no Kashmiri can ever forget the sacrifices rendered by these great martyrs and it is the duty of each one of us to remain vigilant and connected to the struggle that is nourished by the sacred blood of great martyrs. JKLF chairman while praying for the heavenly abode for the great martyr expressed solidarity with his family and pledged to take the struggle of these great martyrs to its desired goal.

Meanwhile JKLF Chairman has strongly condemned the brutal behavior of Indian rulers and their authorities with jailed women leader Syeda Asiya Andrabi and her associates Nahida Nasreen and Fahmida Sofi, who had been lodged at Mandawali Jail on a judicial remand till August 10, 2018 but on 05th August were secretly shifted to Tihar jail Delhi without even informing their families and lawyers. Recently the relatives of Syeda Asiya Andrabi and Nahida Nasreen visited Madawali jail where they had to meet their jailed relatives. As they reached Mandawali jail, authorities there told them that incarcerated ladies have been shifted to Tihar jail.

Families traveled to Tihar Jail where authorities denied them a meeting and asked them to come after four days for the same. JKLF chairman while condemning this callous approach of Indian rulers and their authorities has said that fascists in power at Delhi have yet again displayed their anti-Muslim and anti-Kashmir attitude by inflicting more miseries on two families that had traveled thousands of Kilometers to meet their incarcerated relatives but were denied a meeting which is highly cruel and inhuman. JKLF chairman appealed ICRC which actually looks after the cases of incarcerated people, to take cognizance of this Indian cruel behavior and intervene to save the lives of Kashmiri prisoners.
